What Codeshed uses

| codeshed.style.v1 | Keeps your saved style (colours, logo and frame) when you press “Save my style”. Stored on your device only. |
| codeshed.print.v1 | Remembers your print settings (paper, sheet, printer adjustment). Never the text you print. Stored on your device only. |
| codeshed.langSuggest.dismissed | Remembers that you closed the “This page is also in…” suggestion, so we don’t ask again. |
| codeshed.link.v1 | Only if you link this computer to the Codeshed app: the computer token, the key your app gave for encrypted designs, and when the link was last used. Deleted when you unlink, or after 90 days without use. |
| Offline copy | Codeshed’s own pages, scripts and fonts, saved so the studio works without a connection. Never anything you type. |
| Website statistics | Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. |
| Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Counts visits and how pages are used, with a random ID. In the UK, EU and Switzerland only after you agree. Kept for up to 2 years. |
| Advertising cookies | Only when ads are switched on, and only after you agree. Set by Google and its partners to show and measure ads. |
Everything except Google Analytics and advertising cookies is needed for a feature you use, so it’s on without asking.
Tracked codes never put cookies or anything else on the phone of the person scanning.
Your choices
In the UK, EU and Switzerland we ask before any analytics or advertising cookies are used. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings.
